Speaking of great duos, You may remember this rare model attacking in pairs as twin cities metal power pop band Obsession hit the stage in the 80's. When Jeff Loven & Brynn Arens came out with these dogs barking after our set back in '83, I was immediately a howling fan. These guitars are really hard to find now, & I was glad to see that Brynn still has these canines, as seen in the August 2011 reunion show at the Cabooze in Minneapolis. Long live Rock. Yeah, I've got one of these guitars. It is well made and still plays perfectly. I bought it after it was returned from the ZZ Top Fan Club, where it was to be given away as a prize in a contest. It had the binding on the tail chipped in shipping, but I had it repaired professionally. later I found an original case for it, and I still use it to this day.
ReplyDeleteI had one as well back in the early 2000s and I had a Gibson burstbucker (bridge pickup) installed. Like an idiot, I sold it and have been looking for one for the last 10 years.
